日本各地に静かに佇む小さな祠や社をめぐり、その土地に積層した時間と気配を淡い光の中に写し取った作品集。人の往来から少し離れた場所に置かれたそれらの神社は、華美ではなく、むしろ風景の呼吸に溶け込むように存在している。赤外線調の柔らかなトーンは、肉眼では捉えきれない空気の揺らぎを可視化し、被写体となる建物や樹木に静謐な輪郭を与えている。
ページをめくるほど、同じ国の中でありながら異なる時間帯・季節・気温が重なり、ひとつの長い旅の記録のように流れていく。境内に落ちる薄い影、湿度を含んだ石畳、鳥居越しの薄明かり──どの場所も装飾ではなく、ただそこに在り続けた年月を静かに語る。写真でありながら、風の音や土の匂いまで思い起こさせるような、繊細で内省的な構成となっている。

These structures, neither monumental nor ornate, blend gently into their surroundings. Rendered in soft infrared tones, the photographs reveal layers of atmosphere that are usually invisible, giving each site a muted glow that evokes long-held memories of the land.
As the sequence progresses, shifts in season and light form a continuous journey through landscapes shaped by time. Subtle shadows across stone paths, the faint humidity rising from the ground, and distant light filtered through torii gates all suggest a presence that is neither spiritual nor documentary alone. The book invites the reader to wander slowly, allowing the silence of each place to settle in and expand.
